ICF Personal Credentialing and Mentor Coaching Program

About the ICF

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the leading global body dedicated to professional coaching. With more than 140 chapters in 80 countries, the ICF sets the standards for education, ethics, and practice in coaching worldwide.

Graduating from an ICF accredited program assures clients that you have received high-quality training and are committed to the ethical standards of the profession. An ICF credential signals credibility, professionalism, and dedication — qualities that are highly valued by individuals and organizations seeking coaching services.

What Is ICF Personal Credentialing?

An ICF credential is an additional professional certification earned after completing accredited coach training and fulfilling experience requirements. It indicates that you have achieved a level of coaching competency and are committed to ongoing professional development.

Associate Certified Coach (ACC) — based on completion of an ICF Level 1 program (minimum 60 hours), 10 hours of mentor coaching, and 100 logged coaching hours.

Professional Certified Coach (PCC) — based on completion of an ICF Level 2 program (minimum 125 hours), 10 hours of mentor coaching, and 500 logged coaching hours.

Holding an ICF credential can strengthen your credibility, particularly in organizational and corporate coaching contexts. In fact, the ICF’s 2022 Global Consumer Awareness Study found that 85% of coaching clients believe it is important or very important for their coach to hold a recognized credential.

The Role of Mentor Coaching

Mentor coaching is a required step for both ACC and PCC credential applications. It consists of receiving feedback from a credentialed coach on your coaching practice, based on observed or recorded sessions.

Our ICF Mentor Coaching Program is designed to:
Deepen your alignment with the ICF Core Competencies
Provide a supportive environment for reflection and growth
Build confidence and professional presence as you prepare for credentialing

Program Format:

Duration: 10 hours delivered over 3 months
Structure: 7 group sessions + 3 one-to-one sessions
Schedule: Weekly live Zoom classes
Cost: USD 1,100
Program Policies and Commitment

Because mentor coaching is offered in small groups, seats are limited. By enrolling you commit to attending all sessions. Withdrawals disrupt group progress and are non-refundable. If you leave a cohort for any reason, re-enrollment requires full repayment.

This policy ensures accountability and preserves the integrity of the learning experience.

Accreditation and Bridge Pathways

The Life Coach Certification Groupâ„¢ is an ICF accredited Level 1 and Level 2 provider. This means all our training hours are recognized for credentialing purposes.
Coaches with legacy ACSTH training hours must complete the Bridge Program to align with updated ICF requirements.
Coaches with existing Level 1 or Level 2 hours must provide proof of training completion from an ICF accredited provider.
